I literally wouldn’t exist without Fairfax. My parents met in the 10th grade at Fairfax High and conceived me 5 years LAter. My Dad and his family moved from Detroit and lived on San Vicente and Fairfax, nextdoor to the overpriced shell station. My Mom lived a handful of blocks East of Fairfax at Venice. They probably spent more time on Fairfax, than any other street during those years.

There’s been so much development in the last 15 years. From the farmers market and the Grove. The street wear community becoming a global destination. The Peterson Automotive Museum and traffic jams through little Ethiopia. From Hollywood to Mikes Deli at Slauson, some of the best spots to eat are on Fairfax. One of the most L.A. streets in the City. I wouldn’t be here without Fairfax.
