I don’t much of a historical relationship with Western Ave. Made 2 of these as a commission for LA Artist, Lauren Halsey. Western was important to her and her community, and as one of the longest streets in LA, I know how important it is to so many Angelenos. From Hollywood, KoreaTown, SouthCentral, Gardena to the Pacific Ocean in SanPedro . My favorite thing about the ‘LA Street Runners’ is the relationships and the stories we have with our streets.
